I have the 600 watt version transformer. Have been using BOTH 15v and 12v output lines successfully at the same time for well over a year. All of a sudden the 15v output doesn't work anymore. Try it on manual and it both 15v and 12v outputs WORK. My normal mode is sensor on/time off.
what is going on? Why won't both outputs work when set to sensor(for on) and timer for OFF? Please advise.

The 15V output of the HAMPTON BAY DIY-600PS transformer may stop working in sensor mode if the photocell is mounted in an area with too much constant light. This can prevent the system from detecting dusk, so the lights do not switch on. In manual mode, the photocell is bypassed, which is why both outputs work.

Mr. Anderson: Thank you for your response, but my sensor is working fine when set to Sensor/Timer off setting. It just doesn't turn on the 12v. outputs. Really strange. Turns on the 15v outputs just fine, but recently has stopped turning on the 12v outputs. Sounds like an internal thing to me. Care to take a guess? -Michael-

I just looked up WHEN I purchased the unit. Funny how time flies in ones memory. Turns out I purchased the 600 watt unit on June 16th, 2021 ... so this was not a ONE YEAR old unit like I implied. The unit has worked flawlessly for almost 4 years, but now this glitch. Hate to tie all the 15v and 12v items together and run them all off the 15v side ... as it still works perfectly in sensor/timed off mode. Had to confess up. Probably out of warantee by now. Looking for your advice. Thanks. -M. Allsup-

This is to acknowledge that I found the problem was HUMAN ERROR. I won't embarrass myself by explaining. suffice to say the unit is working perfectly now. Forget all the garbage I asked. It had no merit. Thank you for your response.
