5.2.2 Requirement for USB

The USB port and the USB driver should be installed into the host systems with which set up the Image Scanner
Driver properly.
Check the following items.

1 If the USB port dedicated to the OCR scanner is installed?
2 If other boards (SCSI board, LAN board, etc.) are installed?
If any conflict of hardware? (IRQ、I/O port address)

(2) Windows Vista
Check Item
(1) Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button,
clicking Control Panel, clicking System, and then clicking
Hardware, and then clicking Device Manager.

If the host controller corresponds to USB 2.0 is working
properly.
