DWE46005 Bail Handle Assembly
WARNING: For your own safety, read the tool instruction manual
before using any accessory. Failure to heed these warnings may result

When servicing this tool, use only identical replacement parts.
WARNING: Use only with DWE402, DWE402N, DWE402G, and
DWE4214 series grinders.
WARNING: The bail handle can only be used when surface
grinding concrete and other masonry material with diamond cup
grinding wheels. All other operations with the grinder require usage of
the side/auxiliary handle. Follow the instructions on the grinder.
INSTALLATION OF THE BAIL HANDLE ASSEMBLY:
1. Lightly pull thumbscrews (B) outwards from handle (A) so that their
threaded ends are pulled inside handle.
2. Place the handle assembly over the grinder gear case aligning the
thumbscrews with the threaded holes and the ears on the gear
case with the slots in the bail handle assembly.
3. Tighten the thumbscrews to secure the handle to the grinder.
ADJUSTMENT OF THE BAIL HANDLE ANGLE:
1. Loosen both thumbscrews (B) 2 full turns.
2. Rotate the handle (A) to the desired 45˚ or 90˚ position making
sure that the detent groves (C) align. Refer to figure 4.
3. Re-tighten the thumbscrews to secure the handle to the grinder.
NOTE: Before using the tool, ensure the bail handle is tightened
securely.

AVERTISSEMENT : à utiliser uniquement avec les modèles de
meuleuses DWE402, DWE402N, DWE402G, et DWE4214.
AVERTISSEMENT : la poignée étrier ne peut être utilisée que pour
le meulage de finition du béton ou autres matériaux de maçonnerie
avec des meules boisseau diamant. Toute autre opération avec la
meuleuse requiert l'utilisation de la poignée latérale/auxiliaire. Suivre
les instructions de la meuleuse.
INSTALLATION DU DISPOSITIF DE LA POIGNÉE ÉTRIER :
1. Tirez légèrement les vis à oreilles (B) hors de la poignée (A) de
façon à ce que l'extrémité filetée entre dans la poignée.
2. Placez le dispositif de la poignée sur le carter d'engrenage de la
meuleuse en alignant les vis à oreilles sur les trous filetés et les
oreilles du carter d'engrenage sur les rainures du dispositif de la
poignée étrier.
3. Resserrez les vis à oreilles pour arrimer la poignée à la meuleuse.
RÉGLAGE DE L'ANGLE DE LA POIGNÉE ÉTRIER :
1. Dévissez les deux vis à oreilles (B) de deux tours complets.
2. Pivotez la poignée (A) sur la position à 45˚ ou 90˚ en vous assurant
que les fentes d'encliquetage (C) s'alignent bien. Reportez-vous
en figure 4.
3. Resserrez les vis à oreilles pour arrimer la poignée à la meuleuse.
REMARQUE : avant d'utiliser l'outil, s'assurer que la poignée étrier
est fixée solidement.
