Connect Printer

Follow procedure to ensure correct cable connections between printer and system.
Provided Equipment
• Basic Stand
• Video cable (BNC/BNC) (1.0 ft/ 0.3 m) with BNC female to RCA male adapter or video cable
(BNC/RCA) (1.0 ft/ 0.3 m)
• Printer control cable (1.0 ft / 0.3 m)
Required Equipment
• SonoSite 180® PLUS hand-carried ultrasound system or SonoHeart® ELITE
• System power supply
• Sony black and white printer: UP-897MD, UP-895MD, UP-890MD
• Printer AC power cord (ships with Sony printer)
• System power cord (ships with ultrasound system)

1 Attach the cables:
• Video cable (BNC/BNC) (A) from the system Video Out to the printer VIDEO
IN
• Printer control cable (B) from the system printer control out to the printer
REMOTE
• Power supply (C) from power supply output to the system power in
• Printer AC power cord (D) from printer AC IN to a hospital grade outlet
• System power cord from power supply AC input to hospital grade outlet
