Adjusting the echo effect

■When the " " indicator lights up in the dis-
play window

Press [SETTING (KARAOKE)]
repeatedly to select "ECHO LVL"
in the display window.

Press [MIC VOLUME +] or [MIC
VOLUME –] repeatedly to select
the desired echo level.

This indicator lights up when the function is
activated.
• You can select one from "ECHO: 1" to
"ECHO: 6" and "ECHO: OFF".
• Selecting "ECHO: OFF" deactivates the
echo function. (Refer to "Canceling the echo
effect" shown below.)
• The echo level increases in order of "ECHO:
1" to "ECHO: 6".
• When no operation is made for approximately
5 seconds, the setting mode is canceled and
[MIC VOLUME +] and [MIC VOLUME –]
return to their normal operation of adjusting
the microphone volume.
Canceling the echo effect
In step 2 above, press [MIC VOLUME +]
or [MIC VOLUME -] repeatedly to select
the "ECHO: OFF" in the display
window.
• The "ECHO" indicator disappears in the display
window and the echo function is deactivated.

Adjusting the sound key to
match your voice range
You can adjust the sound key to match your voice
range during song playback. The sound key
changes in increments of semitones.
NOTE
• When a source is selected, you can use this
function unless the loaded disc is a DVD AUDIO
or DVD VR.
• You cannot use this function for some sounds
with a sampling frequency of 32 kHz or less.

play window and the song is played back

Press [SETTING (KARAOKE)]
repeatedly to select "KEY CON" in
the display window.

Press [MIC VOLUME +] or [MIC
VOLUME –] repeatedly to select
the desired setting.
• You can select one from "KEY: –6" to
"KEY: +6".
• The sound key increases in order of
"KEY: –6" to "KEY: +6".
• Selecting "KEY: 0" returns to the normal
sound key.
• When no operation is made for approximately
5 seconds, the setting mode is canceled and
[MIC VOLUME +] and [MIC VOLUME –]
return to their normal operation of adjusting
the microphone volume.
NOTE
• When "DVD" or "USB" is selected as the source,
and you stop playback, the setting returns to
"KEY: 0" (the initial setting).
• When you change the source, the setting returns
to "KEY: 0" (the initial setting).
