Before each use, ensure that the valves
(pressure indicator 19 and pressure
valve 1) are not blocked.
Check the following points:
-
The sealing ring 25 must be inserted
correctly. The seal must be in good con-
tact all around.

The safety filter 26 must be free from dirt.

Setting up
FIRE HAZARD!
Before turning the device on, place it on
a level, stable, dry, heat-resistant surface.
• Place the base unit 13 on a level, dry
and non-slip work surface, so that the
device can neither fall nor slip off.
Attaching the condensed water
tank
The condensed water tank 12 catches con-
densed water that runs off the lid 5 and into
the upper ring on the base unit 13.
• Figure E: insert the condensed water
tank 12 into the holder 18.
NOTE: empty the condensed water tank 12
at the latest when the water has reached the
marking MAX.
Sealing ring
It is sometimes difficult to remove the lid 5
from the base unit 13 after cooking under
pressure. To make the lid easier to remove,
you can use a cloth with a drop of cooking oil
to rub on the sealing ring 25 before cooking.
