This option configures the delay period between a release activation and operation of the extin-
guishing output i.e. countdown to gas release when triggered by an automatic detection
device(s).
The delay is configurable between 0 and 60 secs in 1 sec increments using the left/right buttons.
RELEASE DELAY
When active the release delay countdown will be visible on the LCD providing notification of time
AUTO
until an extinguishant release.
Important! If using the ZXT with Sigma SI status indicators the delay time must be set to a mul-
tiple of 5 i.e. 5s, 10s, 15s etc. as Sigma SI status indicators will not recognise delay settings that
are not a multiple of 5.
Default: 30s
This option configures how long the extinguishing output remains active once triggered, this will
be dependent on the solenoid type used.
The left/right buttons allow the adjustment of the setting from 60 - 600 secs in 5 sec increments
or the setting can be infinite so the output remains permanently active until the system is reset.
RELEASE DURATION
Important! When setting the release duration it is important to take into consideration the speci-
fication of the extinguishing solenoid output - Max 1A continuous or 3A for 50ms.
Default: 60s
This menu setting will only appear when the ZXT is configured with Sounder S2 as a second
extinguishing output.
The EXT 1 release time is the length of time the primary extinguishing output (Exting.) remains
active, this can be set from 60 - 600 secs or as infinite (i.e. permanently active until panels reset).
EXT 1 RELEASE TIME
The left/right buttons are used to change the setting value from 60 - 600 secs in 5 sec incre-
ments, or you can scroll through to INFINITE.
Default: 60s
This menu setting will only appear when the ZXT is configured with Sounder S2 as a second
extinguishing output and extinguishing outputs are set as common operation.
The EXT 2 release time is the length of time extinguishing output 2 (S2) remains active, this can
be set from 60 - 600 secs or as infinite (i.e. permanently active until panels reset).
EXT 2 RELEASE TIME
The left/right buttons are used to change the setting value from 60 - 600 secs in 5 sec incre-
ments, or you can scroll through to INFINITE.
Default: 60s
This menu setting will only appear when the ZXT is configured with Sounder S2 as a second
extinguishing output and extinguishing outputs are set as common operation.
The EXT 2 release delay enables an extended delay to be configured for the second extinguish-
ing output (S2), this allows the second extinguishing output (S2) to be operated after the opera-
EXT 2 RELEASE
tion of the primary extinguishing output. This delay will only start once the "Release Delay Auto"
DELAY
or the "Release Delay Manual" has completed.
The left/right buttons are used to change the setting value from 0-60 secs.
