7.14 Dosing silo (RenAM 500Q/S excluding Flex)

There are level sensors located in the dosing silo (Figure 13). They accurately sense the level of powder to
ensure the dosing silo is at the optimum level. When the powder level goes down to halfway, the mid-level
sensor is triggered and requests more metal powder from the load hopper. This sets off the powder sieving
and pneumatic transfer processes which deliver powder to the dosing silo. A low-level sensor, if triggered,
will alert the system that there is not enough powder, pausing the build process.
