1. SAFETY
 WARNING! Ensure health & safety, local authority and general workshop practice regulations are strictly adhered to when using this
equipment.
 Familiarise yourself with the product application and limitations, as well as the specifi c potential hazards peculiar to this product.
 Maintain pump in good condition. Use an authorised service agent.
 Replace or repair damaged parts. Use only genuine parts only. Non authorised parts will invalidate warranty.
 Ensure safety eye protection, protective clothing and gloves are worn when using this product.
 Keep the work area clean, uncluttered and ensure there is adequate lighting.
 Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the fl oor is not slippery and wear non-slip footware.
Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.

 Dispose of waste grease in accordance with local authority regulations.
 DO NOT: dismantle, tamper with or adapt the pump for any other purpose other than for which it is designed.
 DO NOT: use the pump if has been dropped or mishandled. Check the pump to ensure there is no damage.
 DO NOT: allow unauthorised persons to operate the pump.
 DO NOT: point the pump at yourself or at other persons or animals.
 DO NOT operate the pump when you are tired, under the infl uence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
 When not in use store in a dry, safe, childproof area.
2. INTRODUCTION
Zinc die-cast pump head with pressed steel pump and carry handle. Suitable for 12.5kg grease buckets. Supplied with follower plate
to prevent cavitation and ensure smooth fl ow of grease. Suitable for bulk packing bushings and bearings where requirement is for
grease volume and not grease pressure. Includes rigid extension and 4-jaw coupler.

4. ASSEMBLY
Unpack the product and check contents. Should there be any damaged or missing parts contact your local supplier immediately.
4.1. Insert pump assembly (fi g 1 - 1) through cover plate (fi g 1 - 3) and secure in required position by tightening locking screw
(fi g 1 - 2).
4.2. TO REMOVE AIR POCKETS IN CONTAINER
4.2.1. Take a 12.5kg container of grease and hold the container about 25mm above the ground and taking care allow the container to drop
to the fl oor, the eff ect of which will settle the contents.
4.3. ASSEMBLY OF PUMP TO THE CONTAINER
4.3.1. Remove the lid from the container and push the follower plate (fi g 1 - 4) into the grease, handle side uppermost, until a small quantity
of grease appears through the central aperture.
4.3.2. Install the pre-assembled pump unit and drum cover through the central aperture of the follower plate and onto the grease container
until it seats fi rmly and secure with the 3 retaining thumb screws (fi g 1 - 6).
