12. Remove the clevis pin and 2 lynch pins securing each
set of pivot plates to the frame channels (Figure 3).

13. Carefully remove the bed from the vehicle frame.
14. Remove the 2 flange head bolts and flange locknuts
securing the rear of each engine frame mounting
bracket to each side of the vehicle frame (Figure 4).

15. Loosely secure an attachment bracket to each engine
frame mounting bracket and the vehicle frame
with the 2 flange head bolts and flange locknuts
previously removed (Figure 4).

16. Mount the spreader drive to the support channel
with 2 bolts (M12 x 65mm), 2 bolts (M12 x 40mm),
and 4 nuts (M12) (Figure 5), provided with the
spreader.

17. Loosely mount the front support tube to the
spreader frame with 2 bolts, 4 washers, and 2 nuts
(Figure 5).
18. Loosely mount each rear support tube to the
spreader frame with 3 flange bolts and 1 flange nut
(Figure 5).
19. Loosely mount the upper frame to the support tubes
with 4 flange bolts and flange nuts (Figure 5).
20. Position the spreader frame onto the vehicle frame
aligning the mounting tabs with the attachment
brackets (Figure 6).
21. Loosely mount the support tube to rear of the
spreader base with 4 bolts, 8 washers, and 4 nuts
(Figure 6).
