(Before Delivery Driver Leaves)
1. Inspect shipping carton for damage
2. Remove top of box and inspect scooter for damage
a. If minor damage has occurred, make driver notate on delivery log, report damage
to Genuine Scooter Co.
b. If major damage has occurred, refuse shipment, report damage to Genuine
Scooter Co.

(Setup and Prep)

1. Open seat and find the following items
a. Right and left mirrors
b. Battery
c. Rear fender extension
d. Rear reflector
e. Battery cover
f. Bag of screws
g. Owners manual
2. Remove battery from box
a. Remove plastic cover from acid cartridge
b. Remove foil from top of battery
c. Insert cartridge firmly into top of battery
d. Let cartridge drain fully into battery
e. Charge battery at 2 amp for 2 hours
f. After charging re-install plastic battery cover
g. Install battery in battery holder in scooter floor board (Fig. A)
h. Connect red wire to positive side of battery
i. Connect black wire to negative side of battery
j. Install battery door and secure with screw
3. Fill two stroke oil tank with high grade two-stroke oil
(reservoir is located above floorboard, under front edge of seat) (Fig. B)
4. Fill gas tank
5. Add one ounce of two-stroke oil to the first tank of fuel
6. Check gear box oil
a. Remove white plastic plug
(plug is located on engine case to the left of the rear wheel) (Fig. C)
b. Spin rear wheel in forward motion
