5.6.1 Installing the USB Driver

To install the USB driver:
Step 1 Download the Hisi Platform Usb Driver package from ComPartner-->Documents. Then
install the driver on the computer used for the upgrade.

Step 2 After the installation is complete, power on the phone.
Step 3 Connect the phone to the computer using a USB cable. Access Device Manager and check
whether the port information is correct.
If the phone port is not detected, switch the phone to normal mode.
To switch the phone to manufacture mode, on the phone dialing screen, enter
*#*#2846579#*#* and choose ProjectMenu > Background settings > Usb ports setting >
Manufacture mode.
Step 4 Upgrade the phone using the upgrade tool.
