Optical disk drive bay
The Optical disk drive bay of servers with 4 3.5-inch HDDs, 8 3.5-inch HDDs and 8 2.5-inch HDDs
both support the optional installation of a 12.7 mm (0.5 in.) DVD/CD R/RW ROM optical disk drive,
so the following procedure is an example using the server with 8 3.5-inch HDDs.
To remove the optical disk drive:
Remove the top cover.

Unplug the SATA and power cables.
2.
Loosen the screws.

Push the optical disk drive toward the front of the unit.
4.
Pull the optical disk drive out of the chassis.
