Searching for a desired program type
By specifying the type of program (genre) you
w ant t o list en t o, t he t uner aut om at ically
searches for a st at ion w hich is current ly
broadcasting a program of the specified type.
Set the reception band to FM .

Activate the PTY search mode.

Select the program type you desire.
Use the program type table on the right for your
convenience.
"NO DATA" is displayed if this operation is
attempted before performing the RDS auto pre-
setting.

order show n at right.
Press the key and release it w hen
the desired type is displayed.

The numeric keys allow to you
select programme types 1 to 0
directly. If you w ant to select
one of the other programme
types, use the P.CALL key.

For reception of RDS stations, the RDS auto
presetting function must be used to preset the
stations.
N E W S
When an RDS broadcast is received, the program type is
shown on the display. If no PTY data is available, or if the
station is not an RDS station, "NONE" is displayed.
