OIL RECOMMENDATIONS
Mercury Racing 4‑Stroke Oil, 25W‑50 Synthetic Blend,
or 25W‑40 Sterndrive/Inboard Oil
IMPORTANT OIL PRACTICES
• Straight weight oils
• Nondetergent oils
• Oils containing solid additives
• Multiviscosity oils other than the ones recommended
• Low quality oils
• Different brands of oils, straight weight or multiviscosity
• Different weights of straight weight or different weights of multiviscosity
oils.
