Installation and positioning of the mixing augers
To ensure proper operation of the mixer wagon, the mixing augers fitted on 2S and 3S machines must
be aligned in specific positions during installation.
This is necessary to, for instance, keep the discharge arm or the beginning of the auger from
converging simultaneously during mixing, thus generating excessive torque.
Such excessive torque may, for example, cause the shear bolts to rupture.
Excessive torque may, furthermore, have a negative impact on the mixing behavior and the discharge
at the gate valve.
The augers need to be installed in the following position and, naturally, be interlinked accordingly in the drive train
via the drive shafts.
