    If applicable for added protection, the ETV Platinum contains a power loss capacitor which will close the hot water supply to the mixing valve on a loss of power. The ETV Platinum Plus control can also be configured to close the hot water supply to the mixing valve if the mixed outlet temperature exceeds the Alarm Limit.

    LEDs: Description Actuator Signal Indicates the change in the mixing valve opening. Any time the ETV Platinum Plus changes the valve opening, the LED will turn on for approximately one second. If the LED remains lit, the control is sending the Actuator a “fully open” or “fully close” signal.
