■ Calibration of fuel consumption (Fuel
Flow)
In the "Fuel Flow" menu, it is possible to cal-
ibrate the difference between the fuel con-
sumption display and the actual fuel
consumption.
TIP:
• Measurement errors may occur in the fuel
flow reading depending on the operating
conditions or environmental conditions of
the engine.
• When changing the correction value for
fuel flow, displayed values for total fuel
flow (FLOW), total fuel consumption
(USED), and fuel economy (ECON) will be
calibrated.
1. Operate the outboard motor with the fuel
tank filled with fuel.
2. After operation, refill the fuel tank. Com-
pare the amount of fuel dispensed into
the fuel tank with the consumed fuel
amount shown on the display (USED).
3. Use the directional keypad and the [SET]
button to select "Fuel Flow" in the
"MENU" screen.

4. Use the [
] (Up/Down) buttons on the
directional keypad to select the differ-
ence in fuel amount between the actual
value and the displayed value.
Set using the [SET] button.
TIP:
The displayed fuel flow value can be calibrat-
ed within the range of -7 to +7 percent.

■ Trouble Codes

• In the "Trouble Codes" menu, it is possible
to check the currently active trouble codes.
• If any trouble code is detected, consult a
Yamaha dealer.
Please mention the trouble code when you
contact a Yamaha dealer.
1. Use the directional keypad and the [SET]
button to select "Trouble Codes" in the
"MENU" screen.
