 PERIODIC SERVICE
• Do not remove the radiator cap while the
coolant is hot. When the coolant is cool, slowly
rotate the radiator cap to the first stop and allow
sufficient time for excess pressure to escape
before removing the radiator cap completely.
IMPORTANT :
• Do not start the engine without coolant.
Be sure to perform once every 2000 hours or biennially,
whichever comes first.
1. Stop the engine, remove the starter key, and let the
engine cool down.
2. To drain the coolant, open the radiator-drain-plug
and remove the radiator cap.
Remove the radiator cap to completely drain the
coolant.
3. After all coolant is drained, reinstall the drain plug.
4. Fill with clean soft water and cooling-system-
cleaner.
5. Follow directions of the cleaner instruction.
6. After flushing, fill with clean soft water and
antifreeze until the coolant level is just below the
radiator cap.

IMPORTANT :
• Use clean, fresh soft water and antifreeze to
fill the radiator and recovery tank.
• When mixing the antifreeze with water, the
antifreeze mixing ratio is 50%.
7. Install the radiator cap securely.
IMPORTANT :
• Securely tighten the radiator cap. If the
radiator cap is loose or improperly fitted,
water may leak out and the engine could
overheat.
8. Fill with coolant up to the "FULL" mark of recovery
tank.
9. Start and operate the engine for a few minutes.
10. Stop the engine, remove the starter key, and let the
engine cool.
11. Check the coolant level of the recovery tank and
add coolant if it is necessary.
12. Properly dispose of the used coolant.

1.1 Antifreeze

WARNING
To avoid personal injury or death:
• When using the antifreeze, put on some
protection such as rubber gloves. Antifreeze
contains poison.
• If
someone
drank
immediate medical help. Do not ask the person
to throw up unless told to throw up by a poison
control or a health care professional. Use
standard first aid and CPR for signs of shock or
cardiac arrest. Call your local poison-control-
center or your local emergency number for
further assistance.
• When antifreeze comes in contact with the skin
or clothing, wash it off immediately.
• Do not mix different types of antifreeze.
The mixture can produce chemical reactions
causing harmful substances.
• Antifreeze
is
extremely
explosive under certain conditions. Keep fire
and children away from antifreeze.
• When draining the fluids from the engine, place
a container underneath the engine body.
