Problem
EN The iron does not produce
steam.
The iron leaks.
The steam boost function does
not work properly.
Flakes and impurities leak from
the soleplate during ironing.
Water spots appear on the
garment during ironing.

Possible cause
The steam position is set to 0.
The water tank is fi lled beyond
its capacity.
You have used the steam boost
function too often with not
enough intervals.
Hard water forms fl akes inside
the soleplate.
Steam has condensed onto the
ironing board.
If the underside of the ironing
board is wet, wipe it dry with a
piece of dry cloth.

Solution
Set the steam position to

Occasionally iron wet spots without steam in
order to dry them.
To prevent steam from condensing onto the
ironing board, use an ironing board with a wire
mesh top.
