9.16. Alarm function

You can program the alarm in standby mode. Please note that the clock has to be set properly for
this. To set the alarm, proceed as follows:
While in standby mode, keep the TIMER button [44] on the remote control pressed until the
hours display flashes.
Press the ▲ button [9] or the ▼ button [10] on the Micro Stereo System or the ▲ button
[52] or ▼ button [48] on the remote control to set the hours.
Press the TIMER button [44] on the remote control once. The minutes start flashing.
Press the ▲ button [9] or the ▼ button [10] on the Micro Stereo System or the ▲ button
[52] or ▼ button [48] on the remote control to set the minutes.
Press the TIMER button [44] on the remote control once. The alarm icon flashes on the
display [2].
Press the ▲ button [9] or the ▼ button [10] on the Micro Stereo System or the ▲ button
[52] or ▼ button [48] on the remote control to select the desired alarm sound. The following
options are available: "BUZZER", "DISC", "USB" and "FM". When selecting "DISC" or "USB",
please make sure that you insert or connect the corresponding storage media (Audio CD, USB
stick). If no media for playback can be found, the alarm signal will be the buzzer ("BUZZER").
Press the TIMER button [44] on the remote control once. The alarm volume level flashes on
the display [2].
Press the ▲ button [9] or the ▼ button [10] on the Micro Stereo System or the ▲ button
[52] or ▼ button [48] on the remote control to set the alarm volume.
Press the TIMER button [44] on the remote control once to confirm the input.
Enabling/disabling the alarm function
If you have already programmed the alarm you can enable or disable it with the set parameters.
To do so, the Micro Stereo System has to be standby. You can show the alarm settings on the
display [2]. To do so, press the TIMER button [44] on the remote control once. The
parameters are shown one after the other.
While the parameters are being displayed, you can enable or disable the alarm function by
pressing twice the TIMER button [44].
The alarm icon appears on the display [2] when the alarm function is enabled. When you
disable the alarm function, the alarm icon disappears.
