    Quick Start Readingpen® Basic Edition K-12 (ver. 1.0) Terminology Pen: The Readingpen® Basic Edition K-12 scanning device. Scan: To roll the Pen over printed text. Highlighted: When text, numbers or graphics appear inversed on the Pen screen. For example, when text is highlighted, it appears green with a black background (instead of black text on the green background).
