Clean the device and all accessories immediately after each use to prevent germ
formation. Do not allow any food residues to dry on.
It is essential that you store any prepared food in the fridge. Do not eat any food that
has gone off and only use fresh ingredients that have not yet passed the best-before
date.
Danger of Electric Shock and Fire
Only connect the device to a socket that is properly installed and matches the technical
data of the device (see the "Technical Data" chapter).
Position the cable in such a way that it does not become squashed or bent and does
not come into contact with hot surfaces.
Switch the device off and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket:
– before you remove and/or insert the mixing container,
– when the device is not in use,
– before a thunderstorm or
– before you clean the device.
When you want to remove the mains plug from the socket, always pull the plug and
never the cable.
Never immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids! Ensure that the motor unit,
cable, or plug do not fall into water or become wet.
Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately.
Never touch the device, the cable or the plug with wet hands.
Never cover the device with cloths or similar objects. There is a danger of overheating!
Maintain a sufÞ cient distance from sources of heat, such as hobs or ovens.
Damage to Property and the Device
Always check the device for damage before putting it into operation. The device must
not be used if the device, the connecting cable, the plug or any of the accessories show
obvious signs of damage.
If the device is broken, do not attempt to repair it yourself. If the device, the connecting
cable or the plug of the device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
customer service department or a similarly qualiÞ ed person in order to avoid any haz-
ards. In the event of any damage, contact our customer service department.
Use only the accessories supplied, or accessories expressly recommended by the
manufacturer. Use only original spare parts from the manufacturer.
The device should only be used when it is fully assembled, undamaged, and in working
order!
Do not leave the device unattended when it is switched on.
Make sure that the device remains stable during operation.
Use the device only in closed rooms.
Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip hazard. Do not al-
low the cable to hang over the edge of tables or kitchen counters. Others may become
caught and pull the device down.
Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
