RESET switch
The RESET switch is located on the rear of the
LCD screen.
Usually, you do not need to use this switch.
When you want to turn off the unit forcibly,
press the RESET switch. The unit is turned off
and turned on again with the default settings.
Pressing the RESET switch will reset the unit to
the default status regardless of the current
operating mode.
Note
Do not press the RESET switch during record-
ing. Doing so may damage the data on the MD.
Use this switch with care.

You can return your unwanted lithium ion
batteries to your nearest Sony dealer.
Please consult your nearest Sony dealer.
Note: In some areas the disposal of lithium

Caution: Do not handle damaged or leaking
lithium ion battery.
