Operating Safely This MAJOR machine is designed to operate at a PTO rate which is stated in the Product Specifications part of this booklet. Ensure tractor PTO output is set at a correct RPM rate. This MAJOR machine must only be used for purposes outlined in the Intended Use section of this booklet.
• Trim and chamfer the two cut ends of the PTO and clean off all swarf and shavings. • Grease the two profiles and join the two halves of the PTO together. • Mount the PTO shaft and check that its length is correct as before. www.major-equipment.com...

Always ensure the pins lock the PTO shaft yoke ends onto the spline shafts on both the tractor and the implement. An unlocked shaft could slip out of position, causing notable mechanical damage and serious injury to both operator and bystanders. www.major-equipment.com...

10. Tighten both the Top Link Tap ‘B’ & Lower Link Arm tap ‘A’ to lock the rear deck when raised for transport. NOTE: This machine is factory set to operate with ‘open centre’ hydraulic systems. Maintenance 240920 In order to keep your Major machine in a good working order it is necessary to conduct maintenance on a regular basis. Only competent and skilled persons who have fully read and understood this operator’s manual are allowed to carry out maintenance on this machine.
Blades, blade backs, blade bushing, blade bolts and nuts must be checked on a regular basis for wear and defection. MAJOR recommends to visually check the blade assemblies every 40 hours of operation. This interval may change depending on the operational conditions.
