The procedure will depend on printer model used
For HL-L5000, HL-L5100, HL-L-5200, HL-L6250 serie :
1. Open the printer to have access to the cartridge
2. Press simultaneous on Cancel and Secure.
3. Reset menu will appear
4. With the arrows, select the cartridge to reset in the list

TNR-STD = TN3430
•
TNR-HC = TN3480
•
TNR SHC = TN3512
•
TNR-UHC = TN3521
5. Press Ok when you select a cartridge
6. Press Arrow Up to accept the reset
7. Close the printer
For HL-L6300 :
1. Press parameters (tools) on the screen to make visible the arrows below the screen. Keep in mind the
place of the Arrow down as you will need to use it for next step and the light will be off and the arrow
won't be visible
2. Open the printer to have access to the cartridge
3. Press the Arrow Down (light off) during few seconds. Reset menu will appear.
8. Scroll and select the cartridge you want to reset in the list

TNR-STD = TN3430
•
TNR-HC = TN3480
•
TNR SHC = TN3512
•
TNR-UHC = TN3521
4. Press the line of the cartridge and Initialisation/reset then Yes
5. Close the printer
6. Press Home to come back to normal menu
