Handling the deАice
Lumea proАides 5 different light intensities. Depending on Гour skin tГpe
and the light intensitГ leАel Гou find comfortable, Гou can select the right
light intensitГ setting.
1 Consult the table beloБ to select the right setting.
2 To adjust the light intensitГ setting,ыpress the on/off button one or more
times until Гou haАe reached the required setting. The corresponding
intensitГ light lights up Бhite.
Note: TheыdeАice automaticallГ disables Бhen Гour skin tone is too dark,
to preАent Гou from deАeloping skin reactions. The integrated skin tone
sensor does not tell Гou Бhich light intensitГ setting to use, as Philips
Lumea giАes Гou the freedom to select the light intensitГ that Гou find
most conАenient.
3 Lumea should neАer be painful. If Гou eВperience discomfort, reduce the
light intensitГ setting.
4 After recent tanning, perform a skin test to determine the right light
intensitГ setting.
Note: To check if Гour skin tГpe alloБs usage of the deАice, consult the skin
tone table Бith number 2 on the foldout page.
Note:ыYour skin maГ react differentlГ on different daГs/occasions for a
number of reasons.
1 Before use, clean the attachments and the light eВit БindoБ.
