When shutting off the generator (non-emergency) do you also turn off the Engine On/Off switch. The directions never mention to turn off this switch except if it is an emergency. It seems obvious that you would instead of only shutting off the Combination switch to starve it of gas.... help!
Yes, under normal conditions, the generator should be shut down by turning off all electrical load devices, unplugging them, turning the Economy (ESC) Switch off if it was on, and then turning the Combination Switch off. The Engine On/Off switch is not mentioned as part of the normal shutdown procedure but should be turned off in an emergency.
