• You can wash the product under a mild flow (up to 6 liters
per minute) of tap water at room temperature (5℃ to
35℃) at a distance of about 10 cm from the faucet or
showerhead.
• Make sure that the battery cover is tightly closed, and
holding the external connection terminal cover so that they
do not open, wash the product with your hands. Do not use
a brush or sponge.
● After the product gets wet
• If the product gets wet, drain water and without removing
the battery cover, wipe off water drops on the FJL21 with
clean dry cloth.
* Do not leave the product without wiping off water. Doing so may short-circuit the
external connection terminal.
* Do not leave the stereo earphone terminal without wiping off water.
* In cold climates, water on the FJL21 main unit may turn to frost. Using the
product with frost may cause a fault. Do not leave the product without wiping off
water.
• Do not leave the FJL21 without wiping off water. The
FJL21 easily gets water around the keys. Swing the
FJL21 to flick off the water. (In this case, pay attention to
the situation around you and not to drop the FJL21.) Wipe
off remaining water drops with clean dry cloth.
• If the FJL21 gets wet with water or snow, wipe off with
clean dry cloth. Be careful not to get your cloth or bag wet
with water you could not wipe off or water remaining in the
gaps.
• Use the stereo earphone terminal after checking it is fully
dried. Using it with water drops attached may cause a
fault.
● Draining
If you use the FJL21 main unit with water droplets on its
surface, make it lower the sound volume of the speaker or wet
your cloth or bag. And water may have gotten into the product
through gaps such as stereo earphone terminal or keys. Follow
the following steps to remove water on the FJL21.

Shake the FJL21 approximately
20 times, firmly holding it as
shown, until there is no more
water splattering. Turn the
product over so that the
positions of the earpiece and
microphone are changed and
shake the product again
• Hold the FJL21 firmly not to drop it off.

Lightly press the FJL21 against
the dry cloth etc. to wipe off
water remaining in the
microphone, earpiece, speaker,
stereo earphone terminal, key,
etc.

Place the product on a dry
towel or cloth and leave it at room
temperature (approximately 30 minutes)
Even after you take these procedures, water may remain on
the FJL21. Do not place the product near things that you do
not want to wet. Also, take care not to wet your clothes,
bag, etc.
