Step Getting Connected

Select one of the following three types of connections:
Connecting DVD Recorder-VCR to the TV using the RF Cable
Connecting DVD Recorder-VCR to the TV using the SCART Cable
Connecting DVD Recorder-VCR to a Satellite Receiver or Other Equipment
Connecting DVD Recorder-VCR to the TV using the RF Cable

❊ We recommend using one of the discs in the table as they
have been confirmed to be compatible with this unit. Other
discs may not perform correctly.
❊ Note: LD, CD-G, CD-I, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, VCD, DVD+R and
DVD+RW discs should not be used in this product.

Basic Operation
The Recorder will only record on
DVD-R, DVD-RW and DVD-RAM discs.
Remove the aerial or network input cable from the tele-
vision.
Connect this cable to the 75Ω coaxial socket marked
on the rear of your DVD Recorder-VCR.
Plug the RF cable supplied into the
DVD Recorder-VCR.
Plug the other end of the RF cable into the connector
previously used for the aerial on the television.
