Wide AF capable area
The EOS-1D X III's improved Dual Pixel CMOS AF features
a wide and more detailed AF area.
The AF area is up to approximately 90% horizontally and
100% vertically of the image area. In addition, the AF area
can be divided into a maximum of 525 zones during
automatic selection. Focusing on a wide range on the
screen is possible, and subtle changes in the subject's
position can be handled.
