Large Zone AF
With the [Large Zone AF] mode, a large
focusing zone can be selected, and the
AF point is automatically selected from
within that zone. It selects an AF point
from a wider range during Live View
shooting.
This mode is effective when you want
to capture subjects in a large area.

AF].
When shooting with the viewfinder, you can select the AF
frame from large zones on the left, center, and right. When
shooting with Live View, you can select from any position
in the large vertical or horizontal zones. As auto selection
AF takes place within the selected zone, it is effective when
you want to shoot with the subject roughly fitted within
the screen.
