Attention! Before selecting the “Drain” or the “Spin” programmes, the selector dial must to be turned to the “O” Off position. Important! • The washing machine has completed the programme: this is indicated by a flashing zero. Important! The first time you use the washing machine, when you switch it on, it may display a flashing zero. This is due to the fact that the washing machine has performed a washing cycle during the manufacturer’s inspection tests, and this cycle has not been erased after its completion.

When selecting a drying programme, if you turn the programme selector dial to the “Dry” position or depress the drying time button in Automatic Washing & Drying cycle, the “Drying” pilot light illuminates. When the “Drying” light is on, the washer -dryer is performing the drying cycle.
Operating Sequence WASHING Before the first wash, we recommend that you pour 2 litres of water into the main wash compartment the detergent drawer in order to activate the ECO valve. Then run a cotton cycle at 95°C, without any laundry in the machine, to remove any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub.
7. Start the programme Press the “Start/Pause” button. The relevant light will stop flashing and remain lit. The “Function” pilot light illuminates. 8. How to change an option or a programme during its cycle If the programme has already started, before you make any change, you must pause the washing machine by pressing the Start/Pause button.
DRYING 3 KG OF COTTON You have for example just machine-washed and spun at 1200 rpm 6 kg of laundry. They are cotton fabrics of medium weight which you want to iron as soon as they are dry. Turn the selector dial to the “O” Off position to switch the machine off.

To maintain the appearance of your clothes and household textiles and to make them last longer you should use different types of detergent for different washes, whether for whites, colours or delicates.
Wash Care Symbols Wash care labels inside garments recommend how to launder your clothes with the best results. The care labelling code is in line with care labelling used in the rest of Europe. The symbols used make it easy to select the correct programme on your washing machine.

Maintenance and Cleaning Before any maintenance or cleaning is carried out you must DISCONNECT the appliance from the electricity supply. Descaling The water we use normally contains lime. It is a good idea to periodically use a water softening powder in the machine.

The dangers of freezing If the machine is exposed to temperatures below 0°C, certain precautions should be taken. ● Turn off the water tap. ● Unscrew the inlet hose. ● Place the end of the emergency emptying hose and that of the inlet hose in a bowl placed on the floor and let water drain out.

Installation Instructions It is dangerous to alter the specifications or attempt to modify this product in any way. Care must be taken to ensure that the appliance does not stand on the electrical supply cable. Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person.
Unpacking All transit bolts and packing must be removed before using the appliance. You are advised to keep all the packaging for re-use in case the machine is to be transported again. Using a spanner unscrew and remove the two rear bottom screws.
Water inlet Connect the hose supplied with the machine to a tap with a 3/4” thread. Do not use already employed hoses. Installation should comply with local water authority and building regulations’ requirements. The appliance must be connected to a cold water supply only.
2. Onto a sink outlet spigot. If the outlet spigot has not been used before, remove any blanking plug that may be in place. Push the drain hose onto the spigot and secure with a clip if required, ensure a loop is formed in the drain hose (see diagram) to prevent waste from the sink entering the washing machine.
Electrical connection Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED. The manufacturer declines any liability should this safety measure not be observed.
