Poly phone before you can use one. By default, Poly devices don’t require you to log in before you can use them. If you don’t log in, you see the default profile. When you log in, you have full access to your personal settings and your directory.
If your system administrator has set up the system to lock when it isn’t in use, you must unlock it before you can use the system. Your system administrator provides you with a user password that you can use to unlock Poly Trio systems.
Logging In to and Locking the System Unlock the Phone You can unlock the phone with your user password. Procedure 1. Select Unlock. 2. Enter your user password (or guest PIN if signed in as a guest on a host phone) and select Unlock.
Placing Audio Calls Poly phones enable you to place calls to local numbers, international numbers, and contacts. You can initiate calls from your favorites list, recent calls list, and your phone directory. From a locked phone, you can place calls to numbers authorized by your system administrator.

Audio Calls Calling Contacts from Directories On Poly Trio systems, you can search for and call contacts in your contact directory, the corporate directory, and the BroadSoft directory, if enabled. To share content from your Apple device using AirPlay, your device must be on the same network as the Poly Trio system. If your device is on a different network than the Poly Trio system, you can connect to Trio 8800 with AirPlay using Bluetooth. However the network that the Apple device is on must be able to communicate with the Poly Trio system’s network.

Note: When you enable Do Not Disturb, you receive only emergency broadcasts, and non-emergency broadcasts don’t play or display.
• Connecting a Device Using a USB Cable You can connect a USB or Bluetooth-enabled laptop or mobile device to a Poly Trio system. You can also pair Bluetooth-enabled devices to Trio 8800 systems using Near Field Communication (NFC). When you connect a device to the Poly Trio system, you can use the system hardware for the connected device audio and calling functions.
Procedure 1. Enable NFC on your device. 2. Tap and hold your device for two seconds above the NFC symbol on the left side of the Poly Trio system. 3. Confirm that your device is paired and connected to the system.

You can set the level of sensitivity that the system uses to detect users within its proximity. When the Poly Trio system detects users in its vicinity, the screen remains active. Set the sensitivity to 0 to disable the user detection feature for either office hours or off-hours.
