Signal Filters for Analog Inputs
The analog input signals can be filtered digitally. There are mains filters for 50 Hz,
60 Hz and 16
analog input individually (channel–specifically). The following can be set:
– No filtering
– 50 Hz
– 60 Hz
2/3
– 16
Hz
The default setting is "de–activated", meaning that filtering does not take place.
3.1.3
Operating principle of the 2–channel speed detection with
sense of rotation recognition
As from Version 8 of 6DL3100–8AA or Version 7 of 6DL3100–8AB/–8AC Channel
1 and 2 can be used for counting frequency detection with sense of rotation reco-
gnition. A suitable (2–channel) sensor has to be connected to Channels 1 and 2 to
this purpose. The leading signal is connected to Channel 1 and the lagging signal
to Channel 2.
Channel 3 can be used independently as a single channel (meaning without sense
of rotation recognition).
Displaying of the (signed) frequency detected on 2 channels is carried out on the
two Channels 1 and 2 as follows:
The value of the displayed frequency is calculated for each channel individually
directly from the pulses of the connected sensor. The sign (for the sense of rota-
tion) is determined from the phase offset of the two channels and assigned to the
two channels.
