1. Place the tripod's mounting screw into the appropriate
screw thread on the base of the light and screw the

Carrying the Area Light (Fig. A)
Carry the area light using one or two of the four side
handles 
. Never use the side handles to attach the light to

anything. Refer to Suspending/Mounting the Area Light.

OPERATION


WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal
injury, turn unit off and remove the battery pack
before making any adjustments or removing/
installing attachments or accessories. An
accidental start-up can cause injury.

Installing and Removing the Battery Pack

(Fig. G)
nOTE: For best results, make sure your battery pack is
fully charged.
1. To install the battery pack
the battery compartment door
pack with the rails inside the battery compartment and
slide it in until the battery pack is firmly seated and
latched. Ensure that it does not disengage, then close
the door.
2. To remove the battery pack from the area light, press
the battery release button

Follow the instructions in the app to create your Tool
Connect™ account.
Connect your area light with the D
Connect™ app first by pressing the Tool Connect™
button

blink. Then go to the Home screen of the app and select
"+ Tool." The area light can only be connected to one
Tool Connect™ account at a time.
Once the connection is established, you will be
prompted to give the product an individual name
as well as confirm that you would like to register the
product on your D
