Approach Sensor The Touch Carbon uses proximity to detect when you are about to use the touch keys. As you approach the Thermostat, the touch keys and backlight will light up. This can be useful if you need to adjust the set temp or timer in a dark room. Setting the Time and Date To set the clock, follow these steps. -

Replacing the Battery In most cases the 3 volt lithium battery does not need replacing if the thermostat has a continual power supply. Its sole purpose is to ensure correct time keeping during a power loss to the thermostat.
