The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury when correctly adhered to. Make sure you understand all instruc- tions and warnings.

Contact a qualified electrician to replace a loose outlet. • After use: Switch off the appliance at the rocker switch and unplug it from the power outlet when it is not in use and before cleaning, servicing, moving or storing the appliance.

    Getting Started Unpacking • Packaging: This product has been packaged to protect it against transportation damage. Unpack the appliance and keep the original packaging in a safe place. It will help prevent any damage if the product needs to be transported in the future, and you can use it to store the appliance when it is not in use.

    Instructions Features • The appliance can be operated as a heater or as a cooling fan. • It can be operated either manually using the control panel on the upper base, or remotely via the supplied remote control. • The appliance is equipped with four wind speeds (strong, high, medium, low), an off-timer with four settings (1h, 2h, 4h, 8h), and horizontal oscillation (80°).
  • Page 10 Instructions (Cont.) Switching on/standby • Set the rocker switch at the back of the appliance to the ON [ I ] position to set the heater into standby mode. Once electricity is supplied, the heater will emit two short beep sounds. In standby mode, only the POWER/STANDBY button will be operational.
  • Page 11 Instructions (Cont.) Oscillation (swing) The appliance has an oscillation (swing) function, which you can set to help distribute the air over a larger area. It will work in any mode. Always switch off the oscillation function before you tilt the appliance upwards and before you switch off the appliance.

Safety features Overheat protection and prevention An internal overheat protection system will shut down power to the appliance if the internal parts get too hot (above 70˚C). All indicators will extinguish and all functions will stop. The internal temperature must have dropped to a safe level before the heater will restart.

    Other Useful Information Battery replacement When the button cell in the remote control needs to be replaced, pull out the button cell holder and insert a fresh button cell with the (+) marking facing upwards. Then push the holder with the button cell back into the unit. WARNING! Keep batteries out of reach of children.
