56599
Need help?
Do you have a question about the 56599 and is the answer not in the manual?
Questions and answers
How do I attach the strainer? It doesn’t seem to line up correctly with the latches.
To attach the strainer for Drummond part number 56599, align the pump base to the Debris Strainer using the Switch Housing as a guide. Guide the back of the pump (opposite the discharge) into the strainer. If it does not line up correctly with the latches, adjust the pump’s position slightly and rotate it until it latches in place. Ensure the strainer is properly secured before use.

does the pump start automaticly when you connect the electrical supply ?
No, the Drummond pump with part number 56599 does not start automatically when connected to the electrical supply. It is fully automatic in operation, but it only starts when the water level is over 2 inches. The built-in control system detects water and then starts the pump. If the water level is not over 2 inches, the pump will not start.

can you adjust the flost switch to make the pump start at a lower water level ?
The provided context does not mention the ability to adjust the float switch on the Drummond 56599 pump to start at a lower water level. It only describes maintenance and operational guidelines, including ensuring the pump sits level and keeping it free from sludge and debris. Therefore, it cannot be determined if the float switch is adjustable.
