Failure
Engine does not start or stops abruptly.
The high-pressure pump does not pro-
duce the required pressure.
Pressure varies.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Reason
Plug loose
Main or secondary fuse blown
Water supply closed/cut off
Supply valve to water filter closed.
Water filter clogged.
Air in high-pressure pump
Suction valves blocked
Suction valves worn out.
Water level in tank too low
Water supply valve not sufficiently opened
Water filter clogged.
Pump sucks air
Nozzle clogged
Pressure valves dirty or worn
Pump gasket worn out
Ceramic plungers in the pump damaged
Pressure control clogged or internally damaged.
Solution
Attach the plug
Replace fuse and start motor. If problem repeats,
contact Rioned +31 13 547 91 00
Turn on supply/make supply
Open the supply valve
Stop the machine and clean the water filter
Allow the machine to run a few minutes. The
failure will normally disappear. If not, contact
the service department of your dealer
Carefully loosen the valves and descale them, if
necessary
Contact the service department of your dealer.
Stop the engine, refill the tank and restart engine
Open the supply valve completely
Stop the machine and clean the filter
Stop the machine and check all hoses and cou-
plings for leakage
Stop the machine and clean the nozzle (clean the
nozzle holes)
Stop the machine. Check the condition of the
pressure valves. Clean or replace them
Stop the machine and replace gasket
