Brightspeed just set me up with a Gigaspire U6.2 router. I **** utilizing 4 of the 5 ethernet ports. The ethernet connection I have to my HP 4050t printer is not "working". I have a green light, but no orange light. I've spent a considerable amount of time looking at the configuration and trying multiple things to no avail.....I believe it should have been plug and play as nothing other than the Brightspeed provided router changed? Any direction would be greatly appreciated....definitely need my printer. Currently configured on LPT1 as it was... Also tried configuring it to port 192.168.1.1 (router port) to no success. Thank You, Mark

No, the Calix GigaSpire BLAST u6 supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, but there is no mention of support for a 24 GHz wireless network.

Using the CommandIQ app, I can see the devices I have on my network. I go to add the 2.4Ghz smart outlet and doesn't see it because its not the 5.0Ghz the router is looking for . Help

To connect a 2.4GHz smart outlet to the Calix GigaSpire BLAST u6 using the CommandIQ app, follow these steps:
1. Plug in the GigaSpire BLAST u6 and wait at least 10 minutes for it to fully power up. 2. Download the CommandIQ app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. 3. Open the app and select “Let’s Get Started.” 4. Allow camera access when prompted. 5. Scan the QR code on the bottom of your GigaSpire BLAST u6 or from the sticker in the box. 6. Sign up by entering your personal information and creating a password. 7. Name your network and create a Wi-Fi password.
Once your router is set up:
8. On your phone, connect to the Wi-Fi network you just created using the 2.4GHz band (if the network uses a single SSID for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, move away from the router so your phone switches to 2.4GHz). 9. Put the smart outlet into pairing mode (refer to the device’s instructions). 10. Use the smart outlet’s app to connect it to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
If the smart outlet has trouble connecting because of band steering, you may need to temporarily disable the 5GHz band or create a separate SSID for 2.4GHz using the CommandIQ app settings.

I have a GigaSire blaster u10xe GS4237, Is the user manual and guide the same as the GigaSpire u6 set up manual? Is there a manual for the u10xe GS4237. Any help would be appreciated.

I tried to pair a GigaSpire U4M GM1028 with my U6.2 GS 4227E as per the instructions and all I could get was the green light on both. It never changed to blue and now the router stays green instead of blue. I was going to try pairing with a Ethernet cable but thought I needed to reset the router before I tried but couldn't find any instructions on resetting the router. Do I need to reset the router before using the ethernet cable?
Need help?
