Important: Ensure that you refer to the set of
instructions that aligns with the serial number of your
Debris Blower. There are different sets of instructions
depending on the serial number of your machine.
Installing the Wired Controller
For Debris Blowers with Serial Numbers
290999999 and Earlier
1. Disconnect the battery cables from the battery.
Note: Disconnect the negative-battery cable first, and
then disconnect the positive-battery cable.
2. Disconnect the wire-harness leads from the
wireless-control base

Install the wired controller—for Debris Blowers with serial
numbers 310000001 to 311000001.

Install the wired controller—for Debris Blowers with serial
numbers 31200000 to 31409999 (Model No. 44538,

44539, or 44542).

Install the wired controller—for Debris Blowers with serial
numbers 31500000 and later (Model No. 44552, 44553,

or 44554).
3. Plug the wired-controller-harness leads into the
wire-harness leads previously disconnected from the
wireless-control base

2. Yellow wire from the
engine
3. Connect these
wire-harness leads to the
wired-controller harness.
4. Plug the remaining controller wire into the yellow wire
from the engine
5. Connect the positive-battery cable first, and then
connect the negative-battery cable.
