System Connection Examples
Appendix B provides a variety of connection examples
to show you how to make system connections
according to your resources and requirements: the
number of VTRs, video signal interface, frame
frequency and so on.
Use this appendix together with the flowchart on page
3-2.
Note on use of XDCAM devices and e-VTRs
When connecting XDCAM devices and e-VTRs to
your XPRI System by Ethernet cables, connect an
Ethernet switch and Ethernet hub between those
products and the XPRI System.
SDTV System
The figures on pages B-2 to B-7 show how to make
connections to configure an SDTV editing system
using one or two analog/digital VTRs.
Note
Connecting cables in the figures other than the VP
REF cabel are not supplied with the system.
