Cleaning
The pump should be cleaned on a regular basis as follows:
1.
Disconnect the pump from the AC power and turn the power off before cleaning to avoid any electric shock hazard.
2.
Using a damp sponge or cloth, clean the pump with warm, soapy water.
3.
The pump is water resistant and may be placed under warm running water for cleaning.
4.
Dry carefully with a soft cloth before reusing.
Note:
To avoid damaging the pump do not use sharp objects or aggressive cleaning techniques in the pressure sensor area (see pump and accessory
overview items G and H)
Disinfection
To determine proper disinfection procedure in a particular institution, follow your local institution policy. It should be noted that some harsh disinfectants
may damage or discolour the pump housing which may void the warranty in this regard. Upon request, we will provide a list of approved disinfectants.
Warnings!
Do not submerge the pump in water.
Do not use in the dishwasher.
To avoid electrical shock, never clean while the pump is on or plugged in.
Do not autoclave.
The use of harsh cleaners/disinfectants and isopropyl alcohol may damage the pump housing.
Remove source of magnetic interference or move pump to a different location.
Turn pump off and restart to clear the error. If the error returns or repeats, do not
use the pump. Contact your sales representative or an approved service provider.
