3 Measurement Principle 1) Measurement of eye refraction A measurement pattern for measurement of eye refraction is projected to an eyeground to be measured. The projected pattern changes its size depending on the eye’s refractive power. The reflect light of this eyeground image is led to the sensor through the measurement system. 9 Functional Check Verification of measurement accuracy It is very important to verify measurement accuracy with the model eye ASSY when evaluating the accuracy of the measurement values of this product. Verify the accuracy by using the model eye ASSY periodically. 1) Before setting the model eye ASSY, make sure it has no scratches or stains on its surface.

7. Calibration 7.1 Calibration This item is to readjust the device by using the model eye for calibration as the maintenance tool. When starting this menu item, you need the mode eye for calibration other than the accessory model eye (the model eye ASSY). Conduct calibration only to the model eye which has problems with the measurement value (capability).
