Instructions for replacing the print head for the imagePRGRAF PRO1000
[Prior information]
• Ink and maintenance cartridge capacity is consumed by replacing the print head.
Preparing the ink tank and maintenance cartridge to replace in advance is recommended.
• Once you begin working on replacing it, you cannot use any other function until it is completed.
• The bag of print head should not be opened until right before installing to the printer.
[Procedure]
1. Press the ON button to turn on the printer.
2. Open the top cover when the power lamp is lit.
3. Press and hold the STOP button for five seconds or longer. Release the STOP button when the message,
"Processing... Please wait momentarily." is displayed on the LCD screen. Wait until the print head holder
comes to the head replacement position.
[IMPORTANT]*1: While waiting for 5 minutes, please do not touch the cover and buttons etc.
4. When the print head holder stops at the head replacement position, follow the instructions displayed on the
LCD screen to remove the print head.
-> Press the OK button after removing the print head.
