11 Troubleshooting

If your device has the following problems in the usage, please try the following
measures. If it can't be resolved, please contact the maintenance provider.
Problem
Nothing happens
when you apply power
to the device. The
backlights on the keys
do not light.
Air is leaking from
around my mask
I am getting a dry or
blocked nose
I am getting droplets
of water on my nose,
in the mask and air
tubing
My mouth is very dry
and uncomfortable
Air pressure in my
mask seems too high
(it feels like I am
getting too much air).
Air pressure in my
mask seems too low
(it feels like I am not
getting enough air).
I have stopped
therapy, but the
device is still blowing
air.
The device's display
is erratic(crash blank
or blue screen).

Possible Cause
There's no power at the
outlet or the device is
unplugged.
Mask may be fitted
incorrectly.
Humidity level may be
set too low.
Humidity level may be
set too high.
Air may be escaping
through your mouth.
Ramp may be turned
off.
Ramp may be in
progress.
Device is cooling down.
The device has been
dropped or mishandled.
Action
Check the outlet and verify that the device
is properly plugged in. Make sure there is
power available at the outlet. Make sure
the AC power cord is connected correctly
to the power supply and the power supply
cord is securely connected to the device's
power inlet. If the problem continues to
occur, contact your home care provider.
Return both the device and power supply
to your provider, so they can determine if
the problem is with the device or power
supply.
Make sure your mask is fitted correctly.
See your mask user guide for fitting
instructions or use the Mask Fit function
to check your mask fit and seal.
Adjust the Humidity Level.
Adjust the Humidity Level.
Increase the Humidity Level.
You may need a chin strap to keep your
mouth closed or a full face mask.
Use the Ramp Time option.
Wait for air pressure to build up or turn
Ramp Time off.
Device blows a small amount of air in
order to avoid condensation in the air
tubing. It will stop automatically after a
few minutes.
Unplug the device. Reapply power to the
device. If the problem continues, contact
your home care provider.
