Power supply

the power supply is provided via the vehicle data Link connector (dLc). follow the steps below to power it up.
A. find dLc on vehicle. A plastic dLc cover may be found for some vehicles and you need to remove it before plugging the eoBd
cable.
B. Plug the connector at the end of eoBd cable to the vehicle.

Tool Setup

4.6.1. the scan tool allows you to make the following adjustments and settings:
1) Language: Selects the desired language.
2) unit of measure: Sets the unit of measure to english or metric.
3) Key Beep Set: turns on/off key-press beep.
4) Status Beep Set: turns on/off the I/m readiness Status beep.
5) fn key set: Set the one-click-Quick function Key including I/m readiness status, trouble code, default live data and all data stream.
Settings of the unit will remain until change to the existing settings is made.
When the scan tool is powered on, it displays a main Screen.
from the main Screen: use the ScroLL button to select Setup, and press the enter button. follow the instructions to make
adjustments and settings as described in the below setup options.
note: there is navigation bar in red to show the position for select item.
Also shows X/X at the top right corner to remind the user.
1). Language: Selects desired language.
english is the default language.
1) from System Setup screen, use the ScroLL button to select Language and press the enter button.
2) from Language screen, use the ScroLL button to select the desired language.
3) Press the enter button to save your selection and return to previous menu.
Unit of measure.
4.6.2.
metric is the default measurement unit.
1) from System Setup screen, use the ScroLL button to select unit of measure and press the enter button.
2) from unit of measure screen, use the ScroLL button to select the desired unit of measurement.
3) Press the enter button to save your selection and return to previous menu.
