Mute Synchronization
Mute synchronization ensures that all connected devices in a conferencing system mute or unmute at the same time and at the
correct point in the signal path. Mute status is synchronized in the devices using logic signals or USB connections.
To use mute synchronization, enable logic on connected devices using the web application or Shure Designer software. Many
Shure devices have logic enabled automatically.

Setting Up Mute Sync on the MXA310 and P300
Use this setup to mute the P300 by pressing the mute button on the MXA310. In the P300's signal chain, muting happens after
the DSP so that the AEC stays converged.
1.
Open the P300 in Designer and go to Inputs.
2.
On any channel strip, select Logic enable. This enables logic on all channels.
3.
Open the MXA310 in Designer and go to Settings > Logic control.
4.
Set the Mute control function to Logic out.
5.
Go to Lights. Set the style to Ring.
