When making connections using the supplied right-angled power and network cables, ensure
that you orient the connectors correctly with respect to the thermal camera base.

4.3 Video connections

The camera's video output can be distributed to up to 4 devices, simultaneously.
Furthermore, with the dual payload camera variants you can use any of the 4 different
camera video outputs to display different combinations of thermal and visible light video
feed, simultaneously. For example, you can view the thermal video feed via the HD-SDI
video output, and the visible light video feed at the same time via a laptop connected to
the camera's RayNet (Ethernet) connector.
Note: There is also a specific scenario where it is possible to distribute video to more than
4 devices simultaneously. With a Raymarine Axiom Pro multifunction display (MFD), you
can connect the camera's analog composite video output to the MFD's analog composite
video input, and then share/repeat that video feed in realtime over the RayNet network to
multiple additional LightHouse 3 Raymarine MFDs on the same network. This can all be
output simultaneously with the 3 other digital video outputs described below.
The 4 different video outputs are:
• 2x digital video outputs via the RayNet (Ethernet / IP) connector, streamed over Ethernet/IP:
– H264-encoded digital video — this is streamed to an ONVIF (Profile S)-compatible IP
video-capable display, video distribution unit, video multiplexer, or Raymarine LightHouse
3 multifunction display (MFD).
– MPEG-encoded digital video — this is streamed to a web browser on a PC / laptop /
tablet connected to the camera's RayNet (Ethernet) connector.
